Dorota qualified as a nurse in Poland in 1992 and holds Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care. She has experience of working in hospitals and residential care settings supporting residents with a range of conditions including dementia.
Dorota has previously managed and developed a Dementia Care Unit and has carried out the duties of a Deputy Matron in a 68 bed care home for older people.
Dorota has strong leadership, communication, organisational, assessment and planning skills necessary to manage a well-run care home. She understands the varied needs of residents and how these can be met.
In 2016, Dorota won the Frontline Lead of the Year award by Surrey Care Association.

- My husband had been suffering cerebral vascular disease for more than 12 years. His mobility decreased until he could no longer walk. I had carers in to wash and dress him for 6 years. As he started to suffer from vascular dementia he had to go into a nursing home. The staff were so kind and positive at all times both to my husband and to me when I visited. He lived there for 9 months becoming weaker month by month until he died, receiving excellent palliative care.
