Approached through a quiet residential area, only minutes from J8 on the M25, Kingswood Court is tucked away and yet enjoys a wonderful feeling of space and tranquillity. The Grade II listed building has retained its Georgian splendour which begins with the spacious high ceilinged entrance hall and continues throughout with original features including fireplaces, chandeliers, wide staircases and tall sash windows, giving a lovely bright feel throughout. The spacious accommodation facilities offer a traditional, homely environment so you can be comfortable wherever you choose to spend your time.
Residents enjoy views of the beautiful sweeping lawned gardens and mature rhododendrons from our three lounges, two dining rooms, library, conservatory and day room. These bright pleasant rooms are focal points for many of the social activities within the home. They are comfortable welcoming places where people enjoy spending time together, or relaxing quietly. The gardens are easily accessible.
The well-tended grounds provide residents with a peaceful and relaxing place to stroll, socialise or just sit quietly on one of the many benches under a sunshade, enjoying the beautiful views. An outdoor dining area is a lovely place to enjoy afternoon tea.
- My husband had been suffering cerebral vascular disease for more than 12 years. His mobility decreased until he could no longer walk. I had carers in to wash and dress him for 6 years. As he started to suffer from vascular dementia he had to go into a nursing home. The staff were so kind and positive at all times both to my husband and to me when I visited. He lived there for 9 months becoming weaker month by month until he died, receiving excellent palliative care.
